why wont boot into safe mode?

right now i have a blue screen and i am trying to boot into safe mode. I click on boot into safe mode then a matrix looking thing comes up, then it boots then i get a blue screen. how can i boot into safe mode?

Could you give us the STOP code from the blue screen that appears when you attempt to boot into safe mode?

Look at the link below. It will show you what to look for in that "matrix" of error codes that you see, called the BSOD.
