I have to admit I get some pretty funny ones, and I like your toasting mugs, . .

I'll always be tempted to create funnies in GIF, but right now, my mind is on two in particular,

One is an advertisement that I would like to do for a motor bike accessories product sales project I'm starting, . . . the other I have started it a while back, and is in the form of line drawings, depicting helicopter maneuvers, these I used Infraview for and it worked out pretty good, that was a while back, and self funded R&D finances dried up, although there are many improvements I can make to those, and am sure some will occur after going over the material presented in this post. The material seems to cover a lot of ground, but John Who, no doubt about it, I'll be sure to have a sample for you.

OK I got it to D/L but it first tried to get me to another site, I hit the back button, and it is there, hope I haven't hassled anyone!

I'll look for something a little better.

JohnWho, . . Where are you ?

I can use some help, . . Has anyone ever uploaded a slideshow to the internet like a google blog ?

I have some instructions but it would be great if I can get a little help, anyone game for a walk

through ?

For example;

This tutorial will show you how to upload Flash slideshow SWF file to Google Blogger.
Step 1: Make Flash slideshow SWF file.

Firstly, please make your Flash file (.swf) with some Flash Slideshow software, say Flash Slideshow Builder or Flash Gallery Factory.
Step 2: Upload Flash slideshow SWF file to Internet.

Upload the Flash SWF file to any web hosting, and get the URL address of the Flash SWF file. If you don't have a web host, you can upload your flash file to Google Sites for FREE.

Open http://sites.google.com/, sign in with your Gmail account. Check the option ”I agree to the terms”, click the button ”I am ready to create my pages” below, and login.

> Click ”Choose File” button at the bottom, then browse and select the Flash SWf file on your local hard disk, upload it.
> Now, the uploaded file will be listed in the ”Attachments”.

Now you have uploaded the Flash SWF file to Google Page, you should get the URL address of the SWF file and note it. In Internet Explorer, you can simply click the file, open it with IE, and copy the link address in the address bar. If you are using Firefox, you may right click on the file, in the popup menu, click ”Copy Link Location”, and get the link address. The link address should look similar to: http://sites.google.com/site/wondersharefa.../Home/index.swf
Step 3: Embed Flash SWF to your Blogger post.

The final step is to embed the Flash SWF to your Blogger post. Open your blogger editor, switch to the ”Edit Html” mode, then add the following code to any of the sections in your post.

<embed src=”http://sites.google.com/site/wondersharefamily/Home/index.swf” quality=”high” allowscriptaccess=”always” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” pluginspage=”http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer” align=”middle” height=”150” width=”150”></embed>

Please replace the URL in the code to your own URL and set your own dimensions of Flash SWF file. In this case, the URL address is http://sites.google.com/site/wondersharefa.../Home/index.swf, the width and height sizes are 150.

Huh ! ?... Whats SWF , .. . What is my URL I didn't know I had one ??

I found ;

How to Add Slideshow in Blogger
Instructions
Things You'll Need:

* Computer and Internet Access
* Photos in Photobucket

Step 1
Log on to your Photobucket album.
Step 2
Create a "subalbum" (if you haven't already) by uploading photos that you'd like for your Slideshow. Note-- do not choose the "create a Slideshow" option in Photobucket.
Step 3
Keep your Photobucket page open for later use.
Step 4
Log on to Blogger in another window.
Step 5
Go to "Dashboard."
Click "Layout."
Step 7
Click "Add gadget."
Step 8
Click "Slideshow."
Step 9
Title your Slideshow and then choose "other." Keep this window open.
Step 10
Go back to Photobucket and at the bottom of your "subalbum" in the left hand corner it will say "public feed" and "album feed." You want to right click on "album feed" to open it in a new window. If you click on "public feed" it will create a Slideshow of all of your Photobucket images.
Step 11
Copy that URL.
Step 12
Go back to blogger and paste that "subalbum" feed address into the box that says "feed."
Step 13
Preview the Slideshow.
Step 14
Save changes. You're done.

I went to PB and can only find create an Album, . . is there suppose to be a way to create a "sub album" ?

The google Blogger and the Procedure using Photo Bucket can only produce a slideshow timed at .7 sec. which is to slow for animation of my sort. !

So forget that !

Anybody have a better idea for an internet display of a slide show that needs to be around .4 sec.

One that's free ! ETC. ??

The easiest way to do an animation is to stick it into a .gif file, which can have the animations in fractions of seconds.

I use the GIMP for animations. Making GIFs is pretty simple, you just have your layers as frames, and then save it as a .gif. It'll ask how you want them timed, how you want them to display, and stuff like that. You can even delay frames if you want.

Vaerli,

Thanks that looks interesting, I am sure it will be a step up for me.

But let me explain my present circumstance, . . I have a non-English speaking friend in China, who know very little about Computers, and I wanted to show the slide show I have created on
another program, but she does not know or understand Downloading from the Image Host, as I would need to tell her in writing Chinese, which I have tried.

I was hoping there was a way to upload it to an internet program that she could go to a click it on.

I know the GIMP will help me but it may not do anything for my little problem ?
