 My son has inherited the really nasty Win AntiVirus Pro which purports to be a regular anti virus program. It has corrupted the display with what looks like confetti. It also identifies false problems asking to sign up for the full version. It also resists all attempts at removal. If I boot in safe mode the display is fine but I still can't seem to get rid of it. I have looked for advice and tried various removal tools, Vundo fix, Smitfraut etc., but they are unable to locate a problem. I think what I need is a virus removal tool that boots up from a CD or similar so that the SOB doesn't get a chance to load up. Any advice on how to get rid of this would be appreciated. :flowers:
