Presently I have 1GB 667MHz DDR2 RAM(Kingston) installed on my system. But I want to install another 1GB 667MHz stick of different manufacturer- is it possible?

well i hear thats its better to use the same manufacturer
but i use all different brands and it works fine for me

as long its ddr2(your computer)
plus if you should know if your computer takes high density or low density ram or both
e.g. if you put a high density ram stick on a motherboard that only takes low density ram then the ram with appear with half the size(1gb>512MB) or will not show up at all
