Hi all, im new to posting, used the site for various tips but sadly now my laptop is behaving badly.
I was on it last night when a few pop ups appeared, which was strange as they dont normally, cant remember what they said but on was a company called on......... something or other, didnt really pay attention, was actually playing bejewlled on facebook at the time.
these got more and more often till eventually i stopped, i thought i would run some programs to see if i was infected but it seems that all the programs i have relating to anti virus, spybot, malware etc will not execute now, and just to top it off my link to my mobile broadband seems to have stopped working too. I know its not a lot of info to go on but if anyone has any ideas it would be most appreciated, many thanks.

and apolgies, just noticed that your not supposed to mention your problems on introduction, please feel free to move to appropriate section

well i think im may have fixed it, used combo-fix after looking through forums, seems to be ok, just reinstalling mobile broadband now, fingers crossed
