using dlink usb wireless G adaptor to connect buffalo wireless router

Hi,
I have a buffalo WBMR-G54 wireless router,recently i bought a D-Link usb wireless G adaptor for my pc.After running the setup ,connection was detected and in the network icon it says connected signal strength excellent.But however when i open the browser the pase cannot be displayed.
I pinged the default gateway but its not pinging.
I do not know what is wrong ,kindly help me.
Note- i have a laptop which has built in wireless, and i have no issues while connecting to the internet.

Are you using windows zero or the d-link soft ware to connect?

xp or vista ??

Hi,
im using windows zero to connect.
OS is Xp pro Sp3.
