Hi! Last week I was printing some color images--maybe about a half a dozen or so and all of a sudden the magenta ink was no longer available. All of my ink cartridges are almost full. I have an Epson Stylus C80. I followed the instructions in the book--i tested nozzles, did reallignment, cleaned the heads.....but still the magenta ink won't put out. Any ideas of what could be wrong or any sollutions?
Thanks!

Hi noonytunes,

It sounds like you did the standard troubleshooting. If this is occurring with more than one cartridge, and the cartridges are fairly in date, it sounds like you have a main board logic problem. I would check the connections on the "docking area" where the print cartridges lie. See if anything is blocked, or bent. Also look at the mylar ribbon cable that goes to the carriage assembly and see if it has a tear.

I hope this helps...

There doesn't seem to be any problem related to those things, but thanks for trying, Rigel!
