SATA and IDE channels

I'm trying to figure out what channel my DVD RM drive is located on in the IDE channels. All i know is that it's associated with SATA 1 and my hard drive is on SATA 0.

How does SATA 1 relate to an IDE channel? because i don't know what channel my dvd drive is on. :thumbsup:
