When I click on the Word Perfect icon on the desktop, I get the following message window which is labelled "16 bit Windows Subsystem"

"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows aplications. Choose'Close' to terminate the application."

My latest HJT scan:

I do not see anything wrong here. Click on start, then, run, and type

notepad C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT

and press the ok button. Notepad will open up. Paste the contents of the notepad as a reply to this

I did as you asked but could not get to the Notepad screen. Instead, I got a message that said "Windows cannot find ':\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT'.
Be sure you typed the name corretly then try again. "

I did a search on "autoexec.nt" and found one file by that name in C:\WINDOWS\repair\

Right click on the icon you are launching, and left click on properties.

What is some of the program information you can give me? What program is it trying to run, any arguments etc
