I had the asme problem as the user in this link. Malwarebytes scan found uacinit.dll and can't remove it. The MBAM log shows "Files Infected: C:\WINDOWS\system32\uacinit.dll (Trojan.Agent)". http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/227700/cant-remove-uacinitdll/
I downloaded Combofix and it cleaned it. I want to be sure nothing elese was laying dormant or hidden on my system, so I wrote 0s to my hard drive with the software utility that came with my hard drive. I have a slave drive that had a ghost image of my hard driver prior to the infection. I dupped that image back to the primary drive. I have run Malewarbytes, Mcafee, and combofix, and it all looks clean. How can I be sure it really is clean? Is the Malware full version with real time protection worth buying or perhaps Prevx 3.0? Thanks

As no logs have been posted, I am shifting this topic from the specialized HiJack This forum to the Am I Infected forum.

I didnt post a log because it said not to do so. If someone would like to see one I can run hijackthis or whatever program they request. Is the Malware full version with real time protection worth buying or perhaps Prevx 3.0? Thanks
