Hello all,

Am having a problem with a malware program. Passes itself off as AVG. Managed to get rid of all the AVG filese including, finally, the infamoue avgse.dll file. Still can.t get to Grisoft.com. Am being redirected to the malware sites. Am following a reported fix and need to download OTMoveIt, but can't find it anywhere i can download it. Hoping someone could direct me. Thanks,

Wayner2

Hello Wayner2 and  to BleepingComputer!

OTMoveIt is an outdated tool, and has been pulled from use. You won't be able to find a download for it. And if you do find one, you can almost be certain that it will be laced with all kinds of nasties.

In addition, OTMoveIt fixes are custom designed for each individual computer. Trying to run a fix developed for someone else could have catastrophic results.

I suggest you start a thread in Am I infected? What do I do? stating all your symptoms, any steps you have already taken in an attempt to solve the problem, and any other details you can provide that may prove useful. Someone should be able to help you there!
