I recently had to reformat my hard drive and I am in the process of reloading everything. A couple of the games I am trying to reload are giving me error messages. Both are AOL games

The first is
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error
The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unsusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

The second is

Could not open display
Error code 0=xc8660160
Error: access violation at 0x004A8780 (tried to read from 0x00000004), program terminated.

In a possibly unrelated error, when installing printers at my office, the print spooler was continually toggling on and off making it impossible to operate the printers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
