Hai..can anyone tell me what to do? Actually I am trying to help my friend..She can't open hidden file in her pendrive..even though she clicked "show the hidden file" in folder option..

Is she in admin?
Some times in vista you need to disable the UAC to read a file (ie hosts), only do this temp though, re-able it after you have looked at what you wanted to see and possibly dis connect from the internet while you do that as the UAC is there to protect you from things that you do not want installing on your computer by making you ask permission for that program.
