Help! Newbie and I have Virus take over

Someone please help me!!! I am new and I have tried everything I can find in these pages but I am still infected with pop-ups and my wall paper is hidden behind anotyher page and I am getting about blank. This is my second post. I have run ad-adware, spy-bot, ewido, hijack this cw shred and more. Someone please help this is driving me crazy and I don't know enough to do this myself without damaging my pc.
