My antivirus subscription went out of date and before I renewed I mananged to get my computer infected with something nasty. I was running norton, but rather than buying a new subscription (money is VERY tight) I downloaded a trial version of one of the newer products. I also downloaded AVG. Initially neither could find anything wrong with my computer, despite the handful of blatantly malicious programs that were running. I ran TrendMicro's Housecall scan and that managed to remove several issues (eg, b.exe), and as soon as I ran Housecall, Norton magically could see all the problems that Housecall could. Most everything is gone now, but Norton says there is still an unknown trojan that it cannot remove. AVG can't see it and neither can Housecall.
I tried to run DDS, but I just got a message saying "Access denied," what settings to I need to check to make sure DDS can run? In the meantime, I was able to run HJT. I know you want me to run DDS, but until I can here's my HJT log.
