Can anyone tell me if it is possible to recover a deleted file from an SD card (for a camera) and, if so, how to go about doing so?

I understand data can be recovered from a hard drive, provided it has not been written over, and this file has not been written over (to the best of my knowledge). However, this is a different media.

Help, please.

Thanks, CowsGoneMadd3. Haven't tried it yet (card reader not with me) but I did the google search and found http://www.panterasoft.com/file-recovery/ which is specific for the type of media I have (or so they say).

I will post again when I figure out if it works.

Thanks, Grinler, that was a better one. The panterasoft one finds everything for you, but only THEN does it let you know you have to "register" to actually see what it found.
