My pc has recently started to restart by itself then freeze at the asus logo loading screen and just beeps. I can tell when its going to happen becuase the pc starts to get louder and make a buzzing sound then it restarts - sometimes with a blue screen of death but not always.

Ive had the PC for a few years now, Im not sure why its doing this now, can anyone offer any advice?

heres my PC spec just in case it helps:

AMD athlon 64 processor 3500+
1 GB ram
Windows XP pro
500watt PSU
ASUS motherboard
geforce 6800 ultra GFX card

You need to properly interpret the beep code...according to your motherboard manual or website of MB/system manufacturer.
