What is wrong with driver?

"Ok , folks heres the deal i am working on my friends HP a1223w its twisting me up because i did every thing reformated the hard driver got SP 3 on it the gathered the drivers video,bio monitor,mother board wait....were iis the audio driver i asked my self then i went to there site no audio driver on there offical site so i contacted them and asked they gave me a driver installed to no avil so i went around found another source nothing and still nothing ! can some one please help me its annoying that such a little problem is so annoying.

HP/Compaq motherboard name: Goldfish3-GL8E is an ASUS PTGD-LA
It uses the Realtek ALC 880 chipset

That should give you a couple of other places to look
Incomplete list of drivers is my main beef with HP
I won't recommend one because of it
