I have recently gone through the process of defraging both drives and cleaning them up, I have noticed that my primary drive © has many fragmented files that won't repair with either the Windows Drefrag program OR Piriform Defraggler, the largest of the files is pagefile.sys (2 fragments, >3gb, path is 'C:\) Also, even after defragging the drive (only once on each program) over 26.8gb of files are still fragmented, included files in my Steam games folder which makes up for a large amount of my drive, and my basic My documents folder.
I'm not sure if this alone is causing for my to computer to run at a greatly reduced speed (Boot takes over 5 minutes now)
Any information is greatly appreciated

BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Memory: 2046MB RAM
Page File: 770MB used, 4121MB available
Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS

The only comment I can make is the the Windows Defrag Tool...is not made to defrag the pagefile.

Worth a look, IMO: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb897426.aspx
