Hello, I have a Toshiba Sattelite A300 Notebook. I havn't used it since I purchased it and I have no recollection of what I set the password as.

Ive attempted several possible passwords but none will work for me, so therefore I am unable to pass the Login screen to even use the computer.

Is it possible to reset the password using safemode i.e regedit or something similar

Any help will be greatly appreciated and will not go unthanked

Unfortunately, it's against the bleepingcomputer forum rules to help on this, as it is circumventing computer security. I am sorry I can't help you.
