My friend is running Windows Vista Home Premium on his relatively new laptop (got like a month ago) and recently it's started coming up with this error randomly:

Microsoft .NET Framework (the window title)

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quite, the application will close immediately.

Could not load file or assembly 'Core, Version=1.0.0.0, Cultre=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

and the Details drop down...

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I'm pretty computer literate, but I don't have much experience with Vista or an error like this. What can I do?

I just found out that PC MightyMax, which he downloaded without my knowledge, is a type of spyware/malware and am currently in the process of removing it.

If that's not the only problem, information would be helpful!
