I just recently installed XP Home into a different partition and am having a fun time scouring the net for all of the related drivers. As of right now I don't have the ability to play dvd's (even though I have a dvd-rom) and there's a big yellow question mark next to VGA Video Controller.

Unfortunately I'm not at my home computer so I can't run a Softpedia system scan but hopefully you all can help me fix my dilemma. I'm not sure if "Video Controller/VGA" is the name of a driver I need, or if it's an NVIDIA component that I can download somewhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Doesn't the HP website have them? I see that they do, http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...284&lang=en

FWIW: The ability to play DVDs...is controlled by codecs.

I suggest installing the full version of K-Lite Codec Pack, http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm

A yelllow question next to Video Controller...indicates that the video driver needs to be installed. I would try these: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...;product=391284 AND http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...;product=391284
