Hi. Thanks for any help you can offer. I have a Sony Vaio (model PCV-RS431) that is giving me a BIOS screen when I turn the computer on that alerts me that I have an "abnormal power fan". I can choose the option F1 to boot up and all runs well. I do not hear a fan running inside the computer.

Somebody here will know this:

Do I need to buy a new power fan or a new power supply? My search on Google is inconclusive.

Simply remove the side and look at the fans to see if they work or not
Look at the back for the power supply fan

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
