Hey all,
So i was looking for some screen recording software (which i found so ) and i came across the site: www.bsrsoft.com i started downloading, but when i saw that one of its so called 'award' sites linked to a WOT rated red site. Thinking that it must be a virus i stopped the download. and suprise suprise Avira found a virus.TR/Dropper.Gen [trojan] is what it was called and it was found in the very download from bsrsoft. So is bsrsofts program legitimate? Are the 'award' sites also fake too?
It would be great if someone knew and posted a green/yellow/red rating on WOT for the site.
Thanks everyone,
Moo cow

Not real sure which sites you are referring to.

Instead of posting a HJT log, I would start out posting in Am I Infected

Oh and another one is rated red by WOT
http://www.findmysoft.com/

2/3 of its so called awards are rated red which means they're probably fake o_o'''
