When I turn on my computer it loads up which seems okay... I don't know if it should take So long loading 'TFTP' and then after that, it comes up 'Windows loading' afterwards it reboots and goes through the same process. I can't log on with 'last good configuration' either - only safe mode. I have no idea what's going out. Thanks in advance to whoever's helping me out.

FWIW: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trivial_File_Transfer_Protocol

I'd never heard of TFTP until you posted.

Exactly what does this onscreen message state...and exactly when does it appear?

I have the same problem but I can't boot up in safe mode either....It just goes round in a loop - starts up, gets to the windows loading screen then restarts itself. I've been told it may be a software problem.

The pc was working normally and just restarted itself while my daughter was using it. Could it be something she has done accidentally?

Can anyone help me to sort it out please?

I'm using XP home with service pack 3 update.

You get the loading TFTP screen?

If not, it's not similar...and would probably garner more appropriate responses if it were a separate thread, with details of the system, error messages, and anything else which might help provide clues.

Louis

Edit: I will suggest that your post be split from the one you've tagged onto.
