I would like some help, please? I need or want a good defrag app, that fixes fragment files and repairs them. I defrag from windows utility, on my emachine and it still leaves, fragmented files. I look in the above for what I need and didn't see it. I would appreciate any Help.
Thank You For Your Time.... :flowers:

The Windows defrag tool...is not meant to defrag all files, nor is such really necessary. IMO, it's a good tool for many.

But...for those who want defrag options that surpass those which are inherent in XP, there are any number of 3d-party defrag tools (free and paid versions) which exist.

I have been using paid versions of Perfect Disk for multiple years/versions and I like it. I acquired it because I tend to create fragmentation situations quite a bit (I move files around a lot and have a lot of video files...I also tend to try and then delete various programs), so I bought this program back when it suited my wants (not needs). I'm happy with the version I have (which is not the most current).

I suggest you do a Google re "defrag utilities" and try some (after reading applicable instructions) before making a decision that you "need" a program which defrags every file.
