I have an Acer laptop and bought a bundle pack of the Netgear DG834 router and a Netgear WN511B laptop card about a year ago. I couldn't get the laptop card to work so I just made do with the onboard wireless. I've only just realised I'd never got round to trying to get it to work again until a few days ago. Installed the software but it won't connect to my network (any adice about how to set up a secured network would also be appreciated). Is is something to do with the channels being different or maybe the onboard wireless is disabling it? I have tried switching the wireless from Intel to Netgear adapter but still no luck.
