I can't access anything from the Control Panel. And neither can I access the the command prompt. When I try to an error appears saying that the rundll32.exe file is missing from the system32 folder. And when I check the system32 folder, there is no rundll32.exe. This is no virus because I don't have any. I know that rundll32.exe is vital for windows to run stable. I don't have an xp cd either. And I don't have any other computer from where I can copy it, no backups, no restore points. What should I do?!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do a search on your system for the rundll32.exe, there should be a couple in the Windows folder, when you find one, copy the one with the most recent date into the c:\windows\system32 folder.

I have a copy of it in my C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386 folder
