My pc has recently been infected with trojan.rustok-n. I've tried to run malwarebytes and other anti-spyware software, but I think that the trojan is blocking me from doing so. Can anyone help me out with this?

Thanks,

Did Malwarebytes install okay?

If so, what happens when you try to run Malwarebytes?

I was able to install Malwarebytes. However, when I try to run it, nothing happens. I doesn't give me an error message or anything. It just won't run.

Rename this file:

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe

to this:

winlogon.exe

Then double-click the renamed file and see if it will run.

It's actually "preparing for the scan". It's been doing this for about 7 minutes. Is this normal? Update: It started scanning.

The scan finished and said that it didn't find anything. But, I'm getting redirected on "Google" searches and websites I go to seem to have an overabundance of "Vimax" ads. The log is below.
