I just bought my first Laptop and I did not think about the internet connection being a phone line.I have no land line all I have is a cable line.Is there a way to connect either through the phone jack on the laptop ? I am already running one computer off a router but I have no idea how to hook this one up. Thanks... glene

Do you want to connect wireless or wired to the laptop? Is the laptop brand new or just new to you?

Wired = buy a cable like the one running from your router to your PC and run the new wire from a port on the router to the LAN port on your laptop. It will look like a phone plug only bigger and normally has a little icon by it with 3 computers connected with lines.

Wireless = a router that has a wireless signal and a wireless adapter on/in the laptop

Hope this helps thumbup.gif
