I recently did a rebuild with the new Win 7 RC, and I am having trouble getting BF1942 to run without punkbuster saying "Punkbuster Client: O/S Exception" or something like that after about 3-5 minutes of play. I remember getting that in Vista 64, but I fixed it somehow - just can't remember.

Yes, I am running it in -DX9, as administrator, in XP Compatability mode, etc. The program will run, but punkbuster is kicking me after several minutes. Wondering if anyone has a suggestion.

Punkbuster is used for anticheating countermeasures. On servers that use the software, 64-bit clients may not be able to connect or will be booted. You can try playing on non-dedicated servers or disable Punkbuster in the multiplayer settings. You can also try running the 32-bit version of the game.
