My computer crashed and burned. I formatted it but now every time I install the video card drivers my computer won't boot in normal mode only safe mode. I tried the latest two drivers released by nvidia and neither work. I tried both under sp3 and sp2 and still won't start. I had sp3 running with the 2nd latest drivers before the crash and did not have any problems. I updated all my over drivers including chip set drivers but not still no help. Don't know if this is also contributing to the problem, but the 8600 gt won't work right in sli mode. I had 6800 gts that worked great in sli mode but not the 8600.
