I am getting a message saying my version of Microsoft XP may not be valid. It keeps a black screen on my desktop and the message will not go away. How do I fix this because I know my software is valid?

You will need the original XP cd. Then probably make a phone call to MS and they will walk you through it.

The message you are seeing probably has a link provided to help you do it.
