cursor moving on its own

Hey, my cursor is acting and moving on its own. WHen i'm typing it skips over letters and goes back to the beginning of the sentence or page. when i have a document open, it also goes back to the first page. How can I clean this virus.. I'm using the touchpad mouse on my laptop. Thanks

Before we dive into malware hunting, lets try a couple simple fixes. It may be that you are accidentally grazing the touchpad or the sensitivity is set too high.

Have you tried connecting an external mouse to the laptop and using that?
