My History I have noticed in the Library is stored back to January, I am not sure what this does in terms of RAM, however it seems like a lot to me, I don't know what other effects like trackers and hitchhikers it has, but I checked in options and I have it checked to keep my history for at least 5 days, . . until now I thought that it was saving 5 days worth of history, how can I safely change this and keep about 5 days there?

Give this a try...

from within Firefox, go to "about:config". Accept the warning. Filter on "history_expire_days".

Set to 5 days:
browser.history_expire_days
browser.history_expire_days.mirror
browser.history_expire_days_min

Take a look here: How to modify Firefox's configuration (about:config)

OK, Thank you !

I might have a question or two later, so can you like not go on a vacation to a Canadian Lake with cabins and cool moon lit nights, and blue berry pancakes and real maple syrup, or on a breezy schooner sail boat vacation, with wine and champagne sea food dinners every night.

In the following excerpt, from that page,.

Limit RAM usage

* Key: browser.cache.memory.capacity
* Modified Value: Depends on your system's total memory. According to Computerworld:

For RAM sizes between 512BM and 1GB, start with 15000. For RAM sizes between 128MB and 512M, try 5000.

I get an empty page when I use the key words; browser.cache.memory.capacity

You will need to add the key. With the about:config screen open, right click and choose new -> integer. In the first box that opens enter "browser.cache.memory.capacity". OK that. Another box should open where you can enter the value 5000, or 15000 or whatever you wish.
