Hi Folks..

I have a client that is running Vista Home on their laptop.. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeekkk

They are seniors who have little patience and limited skills with new apps. So they went and got a USB Turbo Stick from Bell up here in Canada. They thought that because it is portable that it would be good to have so that they could have internet accesiblity everywhere.

SO they have this HP AIO printer which they ran previously as a wireless printer when they had DSL / router config.. now of course that changes with their cellular connection through the Turbo Stick..

?????? I think it is not doable or possible but they said that they had the printer working wirelessly through the above setup, AND THEN it JUST STOPPED WORKING ( we hear this all the time right???), so when I check with HP tech support they say that the printer does not support anything above the USB2.0 through a router wireless setup. they claim that the Turbo stick will not work wirelessly witht this printer.

I figured that the client would need an EVDO router to make things work, but they are fairly expensive. The bottom line is that the ISP ( Bell ) told the clients that this device would work just as the OLD wireless router setup would. Ha Ha guess they never thought about this HP wireless printer being in the mix....

So my ???? am I really going insane for no reason trying to find a way to make this work , or have I come to the right conclusion that this in fact won't work withou the EVDO router gizmo...

Aprreciate any help...
