Sounds like "pogo" is causing your java to crash.

Go to control panel => double click java => In the java control that pops up, at the bottom click delete files. This will delete any files that could be causing your jhava to crash....maybe even prevent it.

In the same window => click the tab called update => At the bottom click update.
Maybe not having the latest version of java could be the problem.

If you have 50 different javas....then you have way to many cpl files in your system 32.
Heres a way to avoid all confusion.

Click start
Click search
in the search options choose all files and folders and in the drive choose C:\
in the filename area type jpicpl32.cpl
once the search finishes there should be multiple listings of jpicpl32.cpl
delete all but one of them
now there should only be 1 control panel icon.

If nothing shows up in search do this:

open my computer
double click c:\
double click windows
find the file entitled system32, double click it
In the large large list of files right click the white area, and click arrange icons by, then in the submenu click name.
Scroll down to the j's and find the file named jpicpl32.cpl if you really have more than 1 icon there should be multiples. Delete all of those but one

Now about the java thing now that weve deleted the unneeded icons, double click the 1 java icon and follow my instructions from the above post.

Okay well temporarily lets throw aside the java icon problem.

double click my computer
double click c:\
navigate through the folders to C:\program files\sun\java\bin\javacpl.exe
If you didnt install it into the default direcotry look for the bin file in the direcotry you installed it in. launch javacpl.exe

This will bring up the java control panel.
Click delete files, ad then check all three options and click ok.

Hopes this clears your problem, please post back and ill give you some more instructions for egtting rid of those annoying icons.
