Hi. I've been infected with a virus/spyware called Windows Antivirus Pro, and it seams like it is impossible to remove.
It keeps popping up a program that looks like a anti virus program and that says that my computer is infected with viruses.
the pop ups keep stacking up and there are just coming more and more. And it also keeps blocking any program I attempt to run, like msn messenger, i.e/firefox, and such.

I've tried everything I can think of. I've been searching the net for anti virus/anti spy ware programs, but I haven't been able to get rid of this problem.

I've managed to get a Hijack log and is pasting it here.

I'm putting up a screen shot of the pop up + the message that comes when it's blocking a program.

Hello Drimzog,

We ask that once you have posted your log and are waiting, please DO NOT "bump" your thread or make further replies until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. The reason we ask this or do not respond to your requests is because that would remove you from the active queue that Techs and Staff have access to. The malware staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response, there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

That is why I have made an edit to your last post, instead of a reply. Please do not multiple post here, as that only pushes you further down the queue and causes confusion to the staff.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response but your log will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible.

Thank you for understanding.

Regards,

The weatherman

Download this program:

Suspicious files packer

Highlight the files listed below in bold and right-click and selecting copy.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\onhelp.htm
C:\WINDOWS\svchast.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dddesot.dll

Then start the file packer program and right click in the white box and select paste to paste the copied file names in the field.

Then press the Continue button.

I will create an archive with these files and a small log on your Desktop that starts with a name like requested-file[date].cab.

Rename this file to yourmembername.cab (for example grinler.cab).

Then go here
and fill in the required fields and browse to this file on your desktop. Finally click on the Send File button.

I'm unable to run ComboFix. I get an error message.

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or fle. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

Sorry we couldn't help you quicker. The files needed to be analyzed and a solution created as it blocks you from running pretty much any program.

Let me know if you still need help after the person looks at it.
