I think I am infected with a spycrush infection. I tried using the SmitfraudFix software for automatic clean up but it would not work. Its been a couple hours now and I do not know how to remove it.
I am getting 2 error reports...1 says "Windows Explorer has stopped working" the 2nd one says "Windows Explorer is restarting".
It keeps restarting the screen, I see my background picture but with no icons...it keeps doing this in an endless cycle. I tried using system restore, that didnt work at all. I tried running explorer.exe in safemode, that did not work either.

I ran and scanned with CMB, and the result was that some files are corrupted in Windows System 32. So I am thinking its just to repair these corrupt files.

I am using Windows Vista Home Basic

Do I have to run the laptop in order for you to repair?

Please help! It will be much appreciated!

Sorry for the confusion, I have resolved the problem. I am sorry Admins, Mods, and High Class HJT Mods.
