My grandson's computer had a case of 'SYSTEM SECURITY' infection. After getting nowhere, I did 'search for files and folders (including hidden) using 'SYSTEM SECURITY'. It came back with two objects. I opened their folder, and renamed them both "sucks'. Supprisingly, it worked. Then I rebooted and lo and behold, SYSTEM SECURITY was dead in the water. I used MALWAREBYTES to scan and remove it. It worked nicely.
