Depends on which model you have. For my Linksys WRT54GL, the default username is root and the password is admin. You can Google for the info (e.g., "password for WRT54GL").

WE bought a new Linksys router (WRT54GS) in a secondhand store and set it up and it works great, but then when we added a computer to the system realized we weren't provided the opportunity to declare a password to control who can/ cann't use it. What can we do to fix this?
