I got a bad case of the trojan horse sheur2.aqub virus tonight. I was able to clean the infection from system (I think) using AVG Free, Super Antispyware as well Spybot S&D. After reboot, I can run a clean check with all check now.
The problem is that it looks like the virii has made various changes to my registry, like group policy changes, and expolorer lockouts and such. I have managed to clean some of them up (I can now run regedit). I am wondering if there is a known list of changes that this infection makes so that I can reverse them?
DDS runs, but complains "Not enough main memory to complete the sort" three times within the two minutes than just sits there. I let it sit there for about an hour before I killed it. I tried turning off Super Antispyware, and turning the avg resident shield off, but that did not help with DDS.
Please let me know what I can provide by hand?
