Hi. I stumbled on this forum after searching for win32/rootkit.agent.odg.

I scanned my system with malwarebytes, spybot, nod32 and only nod32 keeps saying that my memory is infected. I tried combofix also and that didnt work (I dont see anything suspicious in the log. I can post it if you want).
gmer will load but I cant really do anything with it. When I right click I cant select any option to do any changes.

Same goes for rootkit repeal. Repeal and gmer do show that I have some rootkit infection but I cant do anything with them. Hijackthis log also doesn't seem to show anything suspicious.

Also I cant even access safemode. Whenever I try to access safemode, my computer just reboots. So it seems like its affected even that as well.

I really hope there is a solution. This damn rootkit is really pissing me off. I've tried a few suggestions by others who had this problem and so far I cant seem to find a solution. I can post the logs of whatever you need.

Please help me get rid of this if possible.

Thanks!

You will need to run HJT/DDS.
Please follow this guide. go and do steps 6 and 7 ,, Preparation Guide For Use Before Using Hijackthis. Then go here HijackThis Logs and Virus/Trojan/Spyware/Malware Removal ,click New Topic, give it a relevant Title and post that complete log.

Let me know if it went OK.

Hi. I just ran dds and posted the dds log and attached the other attach.txt log. Then I ran HJT and posted that log as well. I hope that this is going to help.

Thanks for your help!

Ok.It looks good and they will answer you and it will get cleaned ...

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...p;#entry1350197

Now that your log is properly posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a HJT Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the HJT Team members are very busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic.
