Hi
Can u help?? I have run spybot and adaware, also microsoft antispyware and have spyblaster installed.

Problem is that internet explorer won't log onto internet 9 out of 10 times when it does it is extremley slow, same happens with outlook express but once it logs on finally it seams to run ok then

this computer is on a network with another computer sharing it's broadband connection the other computer runs fine, i have not changed any of the network settings (intentionally) and file and printer sharing runs ok. I have tried closing all firewalls between the 2 computers but still no luck

Can you see anything not right in the log, I have also tried system restore back 2 weeks when i now everything was ok but still no luck

Thanks
Chris

Your log is clean, so there is nothing there that should be causing the problem.

There may be a firewall on your broadband modem that is causing the problem. If you are not familiar with checking these settings, you might check with your Internet Provider and they can guide you through it.

Let's try this.

Please download SilentRunners from here:
http://www.silentrunners.org/Silent%20Runners.zip
Unzip it to the desktop and double-click on it. If you get any kind of warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run. When the scan is finished, it will create a logfile on the desktop. Please post the entire contents of this logfile for me to see.
