What is model of your monitor? Modern LCD monitors have auto-adjust screen function which corrects this kind of problem.

Does this happen when you don't play counter strike? Do other things look normal if you are not or haven't been playing that game.

Yes your monitor has an Auto button, I think first button from left, just press it when that happens. It will auto adjust position and screen frequency .

As a thought: >start > computer > right mouse to properties > hardware > device manager > display adapters > right mouse on your display adapter and uninstall.

While your there, do the same thing for > monitors > uninstall the offending monitor.

Two options:
1) my preference, just reboot
alternatively
2) while your in device manager, action > scan fo rhardware changes (this should refresh your device.

Share your results. dw

Of course if your screen is working fine, it would stay same.
It means it happens only in the game, you better contact the counter strike people.
