Maybe the old software was not recording the right numbers....

or maybe... The old software waited for 15 minutes of inactivity before autologging a user off, and the new software waits 30 minutes?

I use a piece of software that allows me to integrate the other portions of the site into the forums and think that may be causing this issue

Hmmm I could not edit my other message to post the details of the quote.

From Computer Shopper October 2005, p. 106. The topic is about tech rescues "We pick the best tech-support alternatives for out-of-warrenty PCs." It lists Web's user-staffed help forums, and Bleeping Computer was the first one listed.

Congrats on making it to a national magazine
