Folders disappeared

I got problem.
Today when i turned pc on contents of one of 4 folders on d drive (not system) disapeared. When i look at disk space it shows 148 gb used, but in folder properties it says 103 gb..
Can someone help?

There maybe errors on the hard drive or the partition which are not allowing the folders to display, Run check disk and see if it finds any errors.

Go to start then run, type in cmd press enter. type in chkdsk /f d:
