I think that we should have a sub-forum for this topic.... many people may need to be getting rid of some old gear and maybe an entire computer. Others may be looking for a good price on such items.

So I say we set up our own little "Ebay" on this site....

Please support by posting "I support underneath"

PS to mods/admins if you wanna see how this system would work checkout this

It is where I got the idea from... People buy and sell gear on there all the time. I say we apply the same idea here but with computer gear. (If we are under staffed for this kind of a project I would gladly Mod for that area, even though I am fairly new here I could still do it. I have been foruming for like 3 years I understand how rules work and stuff.)

PM me if there is a problem for this thread!

This suggestion has been made several times, by members and staff alike. The difficulty I personally see is dealing with conflicts between parties. Even if we make disclaimers that we are not responsible or involved. Disgruntled buyers will associate us with the transaction, regardless. I am not willing to put BC's reputation on the line when we have no control over private transactions.

Secondly, we do not have the staff resources to monitor the new forum for the inevitable spam bombardment. Your offer to moderate is quite generous and kind, but we are not recruiting moderators currently.

At this time we have more urgent forum issues to deal with and manage. This is not to say this will never happen. It just isn't a priority in the foreseeable future. As well as there are numerous legal and forum management hurdles to overcome.
