should I salvage any parts?

My toshiba satellite p100 (I think is the model) just basically died wtih no hopes of revive.... does any one know if I should salvage the parts?

Remove the hard drive & either keep it or beat it with a hammer to destry it.

If you are normal it probably has CC , banking,etc, info that you don't want to "share" .
