Hi , can anyone give me some advice on how to stop or improve buffering on live streams i watch ?
i'm trying to watch live sports streams but i get constant buffering which makes it unwatchable , i have the latest flash player and im using windows xp and internet explorer 8. i also have an 8meg connection, the streams i watch are a legal stream provided by sky sports. Any help will be appreciated , many thanks

Chances are pretty good the problem is on their end so you should talk to them. If they get enough complaints maybe they'll upgrade their equipment.

Skysports addresses streaming problems in their Technial FAQ (it's about the middle of the page), have you already done the speedtest that they recommend?

On my computer it was the ISP connection speed. When I updated to a faster service my buffering problems disappeared altogether. I watch a LOT of streaming motorcycle races from around the world from many different providers and not buffering problems since the faster connection. HTH
